A key reason for the success of APG is our years of experience in the world of commercial aviation. It’s why we continue to grow and add individuals who share our philosophy and are interested in participating in the evolution of a world-class aviation consulting firm.
Richard A. Asper
Beginning in 1976, Rick Asper’s professional experience has been exclusively related to aviation, with an emphasis in aviation matters related to governments and airlines. He has traveled to over sixty countries during the last thirty years, at the behest of airlines, government civil aviation bodies, airports, airport sponsors and private aviation interests worldwide.
He has represented several governments as their designated representative to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and has assisted many industry partners and ICAO bodies, particularly in the field of compliance with ICAO annex requirements, and compliance with the USA’s Code of Federal Regulations.
Rick serves on several international regulatory boards and committees, and is a frequent speaker at aviation conventions and functions worldwide. He has been the chairman of the Bahamas Aviation Council, a parastatal organization of government and private aviation interests within the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, for the last sixteen years.
Rick is the founder of the Aviation Professionals Group, and has served as its Chairman since it was formed in 1996.
